The Fujifilm X-T10 mirrorless camera or we may call it a “mini X-T1” is rumored to be announced in late Spring 2015.
According to latest Fuji Rumors, the image sensor of the Fujifilm X-T10 will be identical to the one found in the high-end X-T1 mirrorless shooter.
If true, X-T10 will feature a 16.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II image sensor but on the other hand the low-end mirrorless camera will not be weathersealed as the X-T1.
Fujifilm X-T10 will use the same sensor as the X-T1
Fujifilm X-T10 will have a smaller electronic viewfinder than the weathersealed X-T1 model. Here are rumored specs of Fujifilm X-T10 so far.
Fujifilm X-T10 Rumored Specifications
- Name: X-T10
- Cheaper version of the X-T1
- No weather sealing
- Smaller EVF
- Same sensor of X-T1
- Coming late spring/early summer
As you might guess if the Fujifilm X-T10 becomes official it will be a direct competitor against the entry-level Olympus OM-D E-M10 Micro Four Thirds shooter.
The weather-sealed and so popular Fujifilm X-T1 features a 16.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor and priced for $1,199. Fujifilm X-T10 will be an affordable mirrorless camera with downspec’d list of the current X-T1.
